Sarah is an excellent colleague and Chief Data Architect. Her ambition and drive has built a team of over 60 Data Architects and Analysts in 2 years which has supported the whole of Defra and generated a demand for support from business areas, programme and project delivery.

In that short period, Sarah also spearheaded the design and deployment of a widely respected Data Architecture Framework for use in both agile and waterfall delivery across Defra, of which key elements have been adopted by other government departments. In support, Sarah introduced and developed a governance and assurance process which helps us ensure both quality and consistency of all our Data Architecture products and is helping us drive towards a developing pan Defra Data Model.
